Work with me
I'm available for remote contract work.
What I do
- OpenWrt board bring-up and support - from initial port through upstream submission
- Linux network driver development - MAC, PHY, and switch drivers
- Upstreaming - preparing patches and carrying them through review on the kernel mailing lists
- Kernel debugging - hard-to-reproduce failures, data path issues, hardware/software integration problems
- Embedded firmware development
- Hardware-level diagnosis - circuit analysis, component-level repair and modification
I write about this work in detail on the blog.
Who this fits
- Companies that build or integrate networking hardware
- Teams that need upstream support for their silicon
- Projects where the problem sits exactly between the hardware and the kernel - the point where most teams run out of people who can look at both sides
How I work
Remote, on contract. One-off projects or ongoing collaboration. Timezone flexible.
Contact
Email: contact@c127.dev
Write me with a technical description of the problem - what the hardware is, what it does, and what it should do instead. That's enough to start.
